Hey Ronny! Dont know if you have already found this out but we did the tour today and the guide said that the font was made by a student in the 1960s. the only reason why its still there is that it was made by such a heavy material that NOONE can move it!!! Now either that person felt a bit silly or they were ingenious cause they now have a piece of work on display in the Mackintosh Building forever!!!!! im thinking they were on to something good.
